1. What is certificate translation?
Certificate translation means translate various certificates from one language into another and it requires the translation to convey the information in the original text accurately in order to meet the requirements of various official agencies and organizations. Certificates include but are not limited to Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Residence Certificate, Graduation Certificate, Degree Certificate, Transcript, Driver's License, Passport, ID Card, Proof of Bank Balance and Business License.
2. Why you will need Certificate translation?
With globalization, the connection with all countries are getting increasingly closer. Translation becomes indispensable for cross-border exchanges, immigration, study abroad, business cooperation and so on. For example, when applying for a visa, the visa officer needs to know the applicant's personal information, and if the applicant's original certificate is in another language, then the translation is required.
3. How your company will handle Certificate translation?
Before starting the translation, we’ll first acknowledge from basic target language, usage, delivery to any special requirements. While translation, our translator will pay attention on the texts, format, photos, seal and signature etc., on the certificate to keep it consistent with original ones. After translation, our PM will take extra action for QA and then deliver it on time with our translation stamp if everything is ok. Normally the delivery for a certificate translation will be within 24 hours.
4. Does your company provide Notarial service?
In China, the translation agency itself doesn’t provide such Notarial service. A notary public in our country is a judicial attestation institution belonging to the State that deals with notarial matters and carries out notarial attestation activities. No individual or general organization has the authority to provide such services.
While except China, we can provide the Notarial service such as in Singapore. As Singapore ICA requires, for documents not in English, they must be translated and they only accept: 1) Translated copy provided by the Embassy of the document-issuing country or a local Notary public; 2) Privately translated copy attested by the Embassy of the document-issuing country or notarized by a local Notary Public. Then we’ll come into play at this time. We’ll not only handle the translation, but also help with the notarial certificate and authentication by SAL, which is all accredited by Singapore government.
And the results of the certification can be found on the official website, adding an extra assurance to the authenticity of the translation and notarial service.
5. How is the rate for Certificate translation? Just USD15 is enough?
